Alfa Chemistry's Preparation Techniques

  • Direct Stripping

The graphite powder is dispersed in an organic solvent. Ultrasound and other technical means are used to embed the solvent molecules in the graphite sheet to achieve the exfoliation of graphite.


Since there is no violent oxidation process, no defects are introduced in the graphene sheet during the peeling process.


The prepared graphene sheet has a relatively small size and a low yield.

  • Molecular Modification

The oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface of graphene oxide can be used as reaction sites for grafting foreign molecules. The addition of these molecules can not only improve the solubility of graphene, but also make the graphene dispersion exhibit functional properties. Molecular modification is divided into covalent bond modification and non-covalent bond modification
