CNTs/LDPE masterbatch is a kind of functional masterbatch in which carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are incorporated into low density polyethylene (LDPE). CNTs have an extremely high Young's modulus and tensile strength, and they are often used as reinforcements in polymers to form nanocomposite materials. LDPE is a type of thermoplastic made from the monomer ethylene. It is soft, lightweight, tough, and flexible.
