Product Description
Oil-soluble PbSe quantum dots (QDs) are PbSe nanoparticles that are soluble in organic solvents. They are strongly quantum confined materials with a huge exciton Bohr radius of 46 nm. Their absorption can be easily tuned to cover the spectrum from ~1200 nm up to 4000 nm. Oil-soluble PbSe QDs also have other properties, such as an easily scalable large batch synthesis, a narrow size distribution of resulting QD materials, and a fairly low density of intragap defects near commonly used metal-oxide window layers.
