Product Introduction

MIRALON Pulp series is a multifunctional carbon-based additive designed to improve the performance of various matrix systems. Compared with traditional fillers, only a relatively low loading level is generally needed to achieve electrical conductivity or mechanical reinforcement, helping retain more of the inherent properties of the base material while still providing enhanced overall performance. In addition, it can be readily dispersed into a wide variety of conventional formulations and material systems, offering broad compatibility with different processing methods and application environments.

Product Features

  • Excellent Electrical Conductivity

MIRALON Pulp series forms conductive pathways within matrix systems at relatively low loading levels, helping materials achieve electrical conductivity, electrostatic dissipation (ESD), and electromagnetic interference shielding (EMI) shielding performance. This makes it well suited for applications that require lightweight conductive materials while minimizing the amount of filler added to the system.

  • Mechanical Property Enhancement

MIRALON Pulp series helps enhance mechanical properties such as tensile strength, toughness, and dimensional stability. It can also reduce shrinkage during processing and improve the durability of finished components in demanding operating environments.

  • Thermal Conductivity Improvement

When dispersed uniformly within polymers or resin systems, the material can assist in heat transfer and thermal management. This property is particularly valuable for electronic materials, protective coatings, and advanced composite applications where efficient thermal dissipation is required.

  • Rheology Modification Capability

MIRALON Pulp series can influence the viscosity and flow behavior of formulations, functioning as a rheology modifier in certain systems. In some applications, this may reduce the need for additional thickening or thixotropic additives, simplifying formulation design.

Typical Applications

MIRALON Pulp series can be incorporated into thermoplastics, thermoset resins, elastomers, adhesives, coatings, and composite systems to improve electrical conductivity, thermal management capability, and mechanical performance. Their typical application scenarios are as follows:

  • EMI and ESD protection
  • Bonding and connection of conductive components
  • Adhesion enhancement and reinforcement modification
  • Corrosion-inhibiting additive systems
  • Protective and functional coating systems
